The life of an American soldier who has been sent abroad will forever be remembered by that soldier as one of the most interesting experiences of their entire life. These brave men are comfortable firing weapons in the middle of fierce combat, but most of their time is spent figuring out how to spend it.
While all of the brave men and women of our nation's military have daily special duties to perform while on base, sometimes they find themselves just sitting with each other. Some soldiers read books, some write, some play songs, some write home, some play cards, but probably the most amazing thing we've seen soldiers do recently is film their own little videos!
For whatever reason, a recent trend has involved soldiers from all branches of the military performing silly lip-sync videos to the pop song "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson, and the three men in the video below have figured out their own little performance just to bring a smile to your face!
It's really wonderful to see these young men figure out a way to blow off some steam! They truly have the most intense job in the world, and while it's certainly dangerous and we're usually used to seeing these soldiers as serious warriors, sometimes it's great to see them having fun and being silly!
Videos like these are a great way to show their communities back home how, while they may be missing their families, they're still doing okay. Not only does this bring smiles to people all over the world, but fun videos like this are always a great way for soldiers to keep up their morale on base and build bonds with their fellow warriors!
