Anna and Josh Duggar just added one more Duggar baby into the mix. That's a lot of Duggars, but really, who is counting here? The new baby girl was born just before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 27th. Maryella Hope Duggar was born at 9:12 a.m., weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches, the parents told Us Weekly.
“On Thanksgiving eve our hearts are overflowing with joy and gratefulness for the arrival of our sixth child! Maryella Hope arrived this morning at 9:12am. 8 pounds and 2 ounces, 20 inches long,” Josh, 31, and Anna, 31, said in a joint statement. “Anna had a fast labor and delivery without complications. We are so thankful for a beautiful, healthy baby girl!”
This is the couple's sixth baby. Knowing the Duggars, it may not be their last one either. Of course, we'll keep following for any soon-to-be pregnancy announcements. But for now, this little girl is making these two parents super happy and extra festive this holiday season.
There's a lot of Duggars in the world. Who knows how many there are for sure? But for Anna and Josh, this new addition of daughter Maryella Hope Duggar makes six for their immediate family.
“We couldn’t be happier to share with the world that our family is growing by one this Fall,” the former reality stars told Us. “We continually stand amazed by God’s love, redemption, grace and blessings in our lives. Our entire little family is ecstatic!" the family shared.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar has some sweet words for the happy family. They showed their support for the new baby announcement. They wrote on their blog: “We are so happy for Josh & Anna, expecting their 6th child and our 16th grandchild!"
The post continued, "Each child is a blessing from God! Anna is one of the most amazing women in the world, she is a Proverbs 31 woman! Anna & Josh are good parents and it is going to be neat to see what God does with each one of their children’s lives.”
The couple revealed their baby's gender back in June.
“This is the 6th gender reveal for our little family and it always so exciting!” Anna, 31, captioned an Instagram video. “Each child God has given us is unique and special — we all look forward to the arrival of our daughter / sister this fall!”
The couple already has Mackenzie, 9, Michael, 8, Marcus, 6, Meredith, 3, and Mason, 2. Now there's one more adorable baby sibling for these kids to get to know. Chances are, they are all pretty good with babies by now.
In the adorable Instagram post where the family revealed the new baby's gender, the kids seemed so happy and excited! They were running around yelling "it's a girl!" Clearly, this family is thrilled to welcome a new addition.
Anna and Josh were married back in 2008. They just celebrated her 10-year engagement-anniversary last year. Josh and Anna each posted on Instagram last July to commemorate the happy day.
“June was an exciting month for our family,” Anna wrote. “Marcus, Michael and I are . . . officially a year older + Josh and I celebrated our 10 year engagement anniversary!” This couple still seems to be very in love and supportive of each other after many years, as well as ups and downs.
She continued, “The past 10 years have been a wonderful adventure. So thankful for God’s redeeming grace and His blessings to us along the way, especially our 5 M’s!”
Now there's another one and there's no doubt this family is all the more grateful.
