Arizona Rattlers Sidewinders Are Interrupted While They Dance By A Big Football Player

Football season is upon us, and fans everywhere are gearing up for another season of sportsmanship, competition, and incredible half-time shows!

The Arizona Rattlers are part of the AFL, and their cheer squad adorably dubbed the Sidewinders is one of the very best in the league. The Sidewinders dancers are known for their sharp choreography, unique music selections, and often unexpected guests. Last night's performance is currently on the front page of Reddit – it was that shocking.

At a game on Saturday, August 15th, 2015, the ladies of the team's dance squad pulled out all of the stops. In a matter of minutes, they had the entire arena dancing. One might say the crowd enjoyed the half-time show as much as the game – if not more!

Their performance opens with a touch of nostalgia – the guitar riffs from the opening sequence of a song that sounds vaguely familiar fills the arena. You soon realize that the team is dancing in time to Janet Jackson's 1989 hit, Black Cat.

(If you think these girls have moves, be sure to check out 60-year-old Shirley Clements on the dance floor!)

The girls are dancing wildly, but no words can adequately describe what happens when the beat drops. Were you expecting their special guest?

Please SHARE this extraordinary performance with all of your friends!
