Ashley Graham has been giving us all kinds of beautiful updates throughout her pregnancy. Now she is coming close to the end of it, and she's feeling all kinds of sentimental. Her latest post was an incredibly sweet message to none other than her baby boy. Chances are, Ashley is feeling a bit more like a mom every day, and any of us who have ever been pregnant know what that feels like. Toward the end of the journey, it all starts to set in. Not to mention, hormones make us extra touchy-feely.
With this being her first pregnancy, Ashley has been sure to document it every step of the way, and luckily, we've gotten to see a lot of those posts from the beautiful and flawless to the cellulite. Ashley has been open and real about what pregnancy really looks like, and it's been a breath of fresh air to all of us following along.
Her excitement definitely showed in her most recent post. She and her husband, Justin Ervin, are expecting their baby boy's arrival any day now.
Ashley has documented so many moments from her pregnancy. This most recent share was extra special, though, not only because her husband took the picture but because of the sweet note she wrote alongside of it.
She captioned the photo, "beside myself with excitement to meet you, lil man <3 shot by his dad."
In a post a few weeks ago, Ashley shared an image of her and her husband looking at pictures on his camera. "Last shoot of the year with the love of my life, growing the love of our life. ," she wrote. Ashley was clearly feeling excited about the pictures he was snapping and showing to her.
Fans of Ashley’s of course know all about her. We know she’s one of the most gorgeous models there is and one of the most relatable celebrities. We also know that she’s a fierce body-positivity activist!
Many people don’t know much about her husband and her sometimes photographer, Justin Ervin, though.
Justin Ervin is a successful cinematographer, director, producer, and writer. He has actually directed several of Ashley’s fashion campaigns and worked for all kinds of high-profile clients. He’s definitely hugely successful in his own right. Another interesting tidbit is that he and Ashley met in a rather unconventional way.
Ashley told InStyle UK that she met her husband when they were "in church for 'Porn Sunday.'" If you don't know what that is, you aren't alone. Ashley said, "It's a day where ex-porn stars came in and talked about how their life had been changed by church and god."
Regardless of how they met, the couple seems genuinely happy at the moment. Ashley always takes opportunities to gush over her husband on social media. Their love seems really pure, and their excitement for their growing family is such a beautiful thing to see.
The very best thing about following Ashley on social media is that she doesn't show off only the pretty parts of her life. Yes, we've seen her beautiful face and bump many times. We've seen honeymoon photos and more. But we've also seen her share some images that don't flatter her perfectly, which is incredibly refreshing.
Ashley has shown us pregnancy from just about every angle. From the acupuncture treatments to the cellulite (thank you, Ashley — we all have it!) to the sweet moments. This lady definitely doesn't shy away from letting herself be seen and heard. In fact, she seems to thrive on it.
It's no wonder we've seen so much of her in the past year (pun intended!). Yes, we've seen her body quite a bit, but she has also been featured in magazines galore and is ever present in our news feeds. That's because fans are genuinely excited to hear what Ashley has to say.
That's probably because, unlike a lot of celebrities who show us only the beautiful, glowing, perfect parts of their pregnancies (not to mention their lives), Ashley gives us all of it — the good, the bad, and the crinkles and wrinkles. We definitely love her more for it, though. Bodies that carry babies are downright beautiful.
