Ilana Wiles began her "Average Parent Problems" Instagram account not to show parenthood at its worst or best, but what it looks like on an everyday basis.
Wiles, the mother of two little girls, is no stranger to some of the rather hilarious obstacles that come with raising kids who are experiencing life for the first time and don't know any better.
“The parents I relate to are the ones who don’t have space to put all the toys away, who serve their kids hot dogs more often then they’d like to admit, and who consider their day a success if they get everyone to school on time,” Wiles told BuzzFeed.
Wiles' blog reminds me of Sarah Showfety's Dear Baby XO, who documents some of her motherly shortcomings in a funny, relatable way.
If there's anything to learn from Average Parent Problems, it's that sometimes the biggest struggle of the day is how weird your little rugrat is.
