It's rare to see such maternal instincts in squirrels, so this footage just blew me away! When her scared baby refused to come down from off a high window, this Mama squirrel was determined to help him. She made several attempts to pull him to safety and led him down little-by-little. In the end, she did what any mom would do, jumped up on the ledge with him and brought him down with her own strength. Off they went together to climb to more squirrel-friendly heights.
I love seeing this unfold, and was so happy when these two cuties made it safely to their next destination: what else, but a tall tree. Love it! Please SHARE this super-cool video!
