Daniel and his friends decided that this year, for prom, they wanted to make their girlfriends feel extra special. Rather than just ask them if they would be their dates for the evening, the two decided to help each other plan romantic and unique ways they could each surprise the girls, and they made sure to have cameras handy to record what they thought would be excited responses.
It worked out for the girl who asked her date to prom when she showed up with the entire New York Jets team, and the boy who had two adorable babies to help him get the girl, So surely a surprise “promposal” would go in Daniel's favor as well?
But sometimes, things just don’t go as planned, and this sweet gesture becomes a roller coaster of emotions.
After picking up his girlfriend, Alex, Daniel begins to drive down the road and casually asks, “What does that sign say?” It could just be that she can’t clearly see the sign, but Alex seems confused. As she reads the words “Will You Marry Me,” followed by “Just Kidding”, things go from bad, to worse, and then to awful when she voices her opinion on this promposal… until she realizes it’s all for her and feels horrible for what she has said.
Luckily, the two get a little off-camera time, where we're sure Alex profusely apologized, and when they come back, it's all smiles for the happy couple!
