It's safe to say that we've just about seen it all here at LittleThings, but every so often a strange animal comes along who completely takes us by surprise.
This time, I would have never, ever in a million years guessed what the odd little creature in the following video was. At first, I thought maybe it was a cosmetically challenged puppy or a really sick baby bear. Can you believe this little banana lover isn't a four-legged fur ball, but the only mammal who can (truly) fly…a baby bat!
Many species of bats love fruit, and this little guy is no different. You can't help but chuckle as he chows down on a big banana while all snuggled up under some warm blankets. Although the video, which was posted to YouTube by Mike Fry, doesn't have any information about the bat, I believe he might be a rescued baby.
I'm not sure why else anyone would have a bat wrapped in blankets inside — but then again, anything is possible!
