We probably don’t have to remind you that some of the most adorable things on this great big internet are shows of affection between cross-species animals. The video you’re about to watch below is no exception, and it will probably make your day.
One good example of this, no doubt, is the compilation we posted a while back of unlikely animal friends who fell head over heels for one another. There’s a chimp who befriends two cubs and looks absolutely ecstatic about it, there’s a dog who bottle feeds an orphaned lamb, and a yellow Lab who becomes a foster parent for a tiny duckling. (Animal lovers, grab the tissues now!)
There was also the gorilla who falls for an animal smaller than her palm: a kitten! Her caretakers hand over the little munchkin, and soon the gorilla scoops the kitty up and begins cradling it in her great big arms. Just as any human would!
In the video below, a wildlife park allows a tiny chimp, a baby wolf, and a tiger cub to meet for the first time. The result? They start rolling around in the grass together playing like little kids! And check out the chimp’s reaction at around the :30 mark. You've got to love that smile!
