Woman Sees Small Shape Drowning In Her Swimming Pool, Realizes It’s A Baby Deer

We'd all like to think that, if our pets needed help, we'd instantly spring into action to help them and, if necessary, save them. Like when this fisherman saved a whale in need, sometimes animals need our help, and it's up to us to rise to the occasion.

Even if that animal is a stranger to us.

A video surfaced on New Year's Day of an incredibly compassionate and quick-thinking doctor jumping in to save a baby deer in distress.

The fawn somehow managed to wander into her yard and fall into the swimming pool. Instantly, the poor animal began to drown.

The doctor reacted, taking the fawn out of the pool before administering CPR.

Amazingly, she even gave this strange creature, one that no one would consider pet-worthy, mouth-to-mouth in an effort to save it!

This heroic woman, calling upon her skills as a doctor, stayed with the fawn, constantly administering CPR for a whopping eight minutes.

If you have performed CPR, you know the physical exertion that goes into it!

Finally, the baby deer coughed and came back to life!

The video ends with the doctor wrapping the poor baby in a pink towel to dry and clothe it, while also stroking its head as if to say, "Don't worry, I've got you, you're OK."
