Is there anything in the world more adorable than an interspecies friendship?
I’m not sure what it is, but something about seeing animals interact with other animals that don’t normally hang with is both poignant and extremely funny.
Take, for example, this sweet golden retriever and his tiny piglet buddythis cute trio of cows and their very favorite pup!
But if you want to see the interspecies friendship that really takes the cake, you need to check out this itsy-bitsy kitten and her best pal, a little baby deer! These two babies are clearly experts at the fine art form of looking at each other sniffing curiously, and then settling down for a cozy cuddle!
The dynamic duo captured here are both residents of a wildlife sanctuary. The kitten appears to be a full time resident, while the teeny fawn, named Snowflake, seems to be visiting on a temporary basis due to an injured leg.
While it’s not totally clear why the bathtub is the designated hang out zone, we’re guessing it has to do with keeping little Snowflake from re-injuring himself. In the meantime, he’s having a grand old time getting cozy with his kitten pal, a process which features lots of nuzzling and many kisses!
