While visiting the Kruger Game Preserve in Africa, a couple of lucky guests were able to capture the following footage — and it's amazing!
Two adolescent elephants were mock fighting, which is rather common. They were probably brothers, as one was larger. In the same area, there was also a female elephant and tiny baby. While the two teens were fighting, the smaller one got shoved down and was having lots of trouble getting up. The larger one was trying to help, but then comes the tiny baby to the rescue, running into the frame to help rescue his brother on the ground!
It's so funny watching the baby trying to pick up his older brother, who is four times his size. Watch him pretzel himself into various position to try and help push his bro back onto his feet. How cute is this?!
One YouTube commenter says it best: "I can almost hear mamma elephant yelling in the back "Watch it, you're going to poke your eyes out with that thing. It's all fun and games till someone gets hurt." Elephants have proved themselves viral video superstars — like the pair of baby elephants who splashed around an inflatable kiddie pool on a hot summer day.
Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa's first national park in 1926.
