Amidst all our toil and troubles, it's easy to forget that life is a truly beautiful thing. Sometimes, on the darker days, you need a little reminder of just how precious it is to be alive. And often, the best reminders are, well, the little things.
And here at LittleThings, we've made it our mission to spread some cheer with the cutest, sweetest, most uplifting stories we can find.
Phillip and Alice, a father and daughter living in Princeton, NJ, were enjoying a normal day at home when they spotted something curious in their backyard. When they realized what it was, they knew they had to capture the beautiful moment and share it with the world.
Sometimes, after a tough day, you just need to see something precious and tiny. We hope this brings some joy to your day!

When Phillip Wang and his daughter Alice peeked out their back window, they were shocked by what they saw.

Huddled by their back fence was a den of little baby foxes!

Eager to capture the adorable creatures, Phillip grabbed his camera and started snapping photos.

The father and daughter watched in glee as the little babies romped and walked about.

They assumed the mother was out hunting for dinner.

Foxes are found all across North America. This particular family lives in Princeton, NJ, clearly right in Phillip's backyard!

Though baby foxes are adorable, it's important to always maintain your distance and never feed them.

Approaching them is not only dangerous to your well-being, but might disrupt the foxes' way of life as well.

Photographing their cute antics from a safe distance is harmless, though, and always encouraged!

Around the world, foxes have a reputation for being sneaky, charming creatures, full of mischief and magic.

To me, they just look like adorable balls of fluff.
