This Photo Of An Orphaned Baby Kangaroo Finding Love Will Melt Your Heart

I love looking at photos of amazingly adorable animals.

There is nothing more heartwarming than observing an animal hugging a friend, like these two dogs who put their arms around one another. And when it comes to baby animals in particular, I certainly do have a soft spot. It saddens me to see orphaned animals in the wild, but I am always glad when they find love or companionship. So when I saw this photo of an orphaned eastern grey kangaroo, my heart absolutely melted.

Twitter user Tim Beshara posted this photo that his mother took on her property in Tasmania, Australia. This photo has since gone viral for being one of the cutest and most touching pictures around. Tim's mother named this baby kangaroo Doodlebug and was happy to introduce Doodlebug to her new friend.

Eastern grey kangaroos like Doodlebug are very common in Australia, with a population of several million.

And while a cuddly teddy bear could never take the place of a mother's love, we are glad to see that Doodlebug has found a friend that she can hold onto!
