While 'Bucket Lists" are usually reserved for people later in their life, they are a good way for someone at any age to celebrate life… even those who haven't been born yet.
When Jenna and Dan Haley found out they were pregnant it was the best news of her life, followed by some of the worst a few months later. The young couple learned that their unborn son, Shane, had a complex neural defect that kills most infants shortly after birth.
While most couples would be too devastated to do much of anything, Jenna and Dan decided to do something special for Shane while Jenna was still pregnant. "We understood what it was and knew that our time with our son could be very limited, so we wanted to make the most of the time that we had with him," said Dan.
This is when the couple got the idea to create a "Bucket List" for Shane, taking their unborn baby to experience some of their favorite things. The Haleys wanted to do as many things as possible and share Shane's adventures along the way. The resulting photo collection is truly moving.
