OMG!! Look at these Turkey Poults!!! Who knew how cute baby turkeys were?
These adorable little feathered friends live at one of the handful of shelter locations of the Farm Sanctuary. The farm was founded in 1986 to fight the abuses of factory farming and to encourage awareness and understanding about the conditions of today's industrialized farms.
The Farm Sanctuary team advocates for laws and policies for farmed animals as well as educates the public that those idyllic, spacious pastures we tend to see on TV or in the media are not really the conditions upon which their food is coming from. Since it's inception 3,000 needy farm animals have been given a new lease on life.
Watching these baby chicks run around on a green, lush farm is just amazing!
