Without cameras, without recorded history, we would all miss out on some of nature's rarest, most beautiful moments.
Would we know there is a crooked forest in Poland where the trees grow curved out of the ground? Would we have ever dreamed that there's an entire island of free-running foxes in Japan?
Nothing compares to witnessing these miraculous moments on Earth.
What's everyday in one place is totally mystifying in another. In India, monkeys are common tree critters, while in the U.S. we've got squirrels to deal with. To a transplant of either country, this is probably intriguing and mind-boggling.
Not all of us can satiate our wanderlust by just getting up and going — we've got responsibilities — which is why I'm so lucky to have grown up in a time where people always have cameras on them.
A few good men captured this incredible moment at Vero Beach, FL.
It was a totally normal day until they looked at the black specks in the sand and noticed they started moving. The fellows turned on their camera and managed to capture something that most people will never witness.
Within minutes the beach was transformed into mother nature's stage. Be sure to stay tuned until 1:27. That's when things really get going.
