Baby Stops Breathing So Hero Taco Bell Manager Steps In, Mom ‘Couldn’t Be More Grateful’

A mom in Pennsylvania has praised a Taco Bell manager because she "saved [her] son's life." The mom, Natasha Long, was at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Richboro, Pennsylvania, when she noticed that her 11-week-old baby, Myles, was having issues breathing. She panicked when she opened the door of her car and saw that her baby was "completely blue and was lifeless." Before stopping at Taco Bell for food, she had been at CVS to get medication because of issues Myles was dealing with, Fox 29 reported.

The mom suddenly felt like she was also struggling to breathe, and she started screaming for help. Luckily, store manager Becky Arbaugh knew what to do and was ready to help.

Becky told ABC 6 that she "ran outside."

"I took the baby and I started to do chest compressions on the baby and then he finally started to breathe," Becky told the outlet.

The reason Becky was able to remain so calm and help the baby is because she had experience something similar with her daughter, she explained to ABC 6.

"When my kids were little, my daughter had a similar incident, so I knew what she was feeling," Becky explained to the outlet. "I knew if I kept her calm and I stayed calm, there was no thought in my mind that the baby wasn't going to breathe again."

The baby was rushed to the hospital, and though it's unclear what caused him to struggle to breathe, Natasha said she is "so beyond grateful for [Becky] because she did save my son’s life and honestly, she’s become like Aunt Becky to my son," as per Fox 29.
