He Rolls Bacon And Salmon Into A Ball… But Wait Till You See His Special Trick. YUM!

Wrapping food with bacon is nothing new, but the treat in this video looks too good to ignore.

The host of the web series BBQFOOD4U, Jason King, shared his recipe for salmon bites, which he calls a “great appetizer or side dish.”

It also looks fairly simple to make, just like his previous recipe for bacon, egg, and sausage breakfast balls, as well as a pizza one from Australia’s One Pot Chef.

Here’s all you'll need:

  • Salmon
  • Bacon
  • Grill
  • Charcoal
  • Wood chips
  • Drip pan
  • 4 cups of water

To prepare the food, King cuts the salmon into small cubes and wraps them entirely with the bacon. The cook also uses the bacon in substitution of an important tool (the 1:44 mark shows off his pretty neat trick).

After the wrapping is complete, King then places them on the barbecue and, after an hour, adds some special glaze. (You might be surprised when you find out what it is at the 3:29 mark.)

King places the little balls back on the barbecue for a few more minutes before taking them off. As the finishing touch, he adds some dill to each.

The end result looks absolutely delicious!
