Ah, celebrity fan art. When I was a teenager I'd decorate my room with posters of all my favorite bands, movies, and fashion models.
In typical form, I loved cutting out pictures from magazines and making collages out of them. Yet, in all the angst-ridden teen years I'd spent listening to Nirvana, I never thought drawing a portrait of Kurt Cobain would somehow enhance my shrine to the '90s grunge band.
Creating fan art is for a special kind of fan, I think. The kind of fan who obsesses and devours every detail of a star's life.
There's one way to pay homage to stars, like these artists who create portraits out of food or this one who adds them into old thrift store paintings.
Then there are fans who are just fans, not artists. Certainly their hearts are in the right place but drawing faces is hard.
I can hardly tell who any of the stars are supposed to be in these funny fan art photos.
Look, you can't blame a guy for trying but you can giggle at his efforts.
