We've seen it in the movies, we've seen in on the news, and we've possibly seen it in real life: the moment when a family gets reunited with a member in the military.
It seems like in that moment, all the daily worries of life just melt away, and what's most important in life is right there.
We're not just talking about the men and women who serve our country, but the brave animals, too. Look at this amazing reunion between an owner and his military dog — absolutely priceless!
On December 19, 2016, Matt Farrell — the point guard for the men's basketball team at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana — was celebrating a win with his team when the announcer mentioned they were about to present a "holiday greeting.”
Farrell's brother, Bo, who was currently stationed overseas in Afghanistan, flashed on the screen before their very eyes. Bo started wishing Notre Dame a very merry Christmas, and commended them on their efforts as a team.
Bo then gave a shout-out to his parents, who were at the game, along with letting Farrell know how proud he was to be his brother. He signed off, saying that he looked forward to seeing Farrell very soon — but much, much sooner than he thought.
