The beauty of Southern weddings is often unmatchable. The spacious, outdoor venues; the beautiful, warm weather; and the delicious comfort food all mix together to create one unforgettable ceremony.
Susanna and Brian had one such wedding when they tied the knot on the groom’s family’s ranch in Coushatta, LA.
Guests sat on haystacks — one of the items from our list of country wedding must-haves — as a violin serenaded them. There were also many more rustic items at the wedding, like the unique decorations at the 4:48 mark.
The couple slow-danced in an open field, perhaps to one of these country love tunes. The bride looked elegant in a form-fitting gown, lacy headpiece, and turquoise pearls while her beau looked classic in a suit.
“This entire wedding — the couple, the family, the wedding party, the guests — was the perfect example of southern charm and hospitality… and let's not forget the yummy southern cooking,” PenWeddings, who filmed the wedding, wrote on YouTube. “Everyone put so much effort into making this the perfect day, and it really was.” (And, just wait till you see who crashed the nuptials at the 3:08 mark!)
The couple’s love shined through the video, especially when the groom made a toast to his bride.
“I get to marry, literally, the girl that I’ve been in love with my entire life,” Brian said. “I finally got the one, and I’m ready to start my life.”
