Their Performance Was Like Nothing I’ve Ever Seen, But When I Heard Why They Dance? WOW…

When I watched the following video, I was certain that it was just another competitive dance routine. But I quickly stood corrected — this group of men is inspiring for more than its shadow dance bit.

UDI, who hail from Siberia, run a dance school for underprivileged children. “We work closely with a local orphanage to give these children a sense of belonging,” said one member of the group. “This is a matter of great honor for us.”

They used their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent to spread the word about their cause with the ultimate goal of raising enough money to buy a bigger school for their kids. If the public could get behind them, commented one dance team member, then it could “change our lives and the children’s lives forever.”

When they took the stage, it was made clear they wouldn’t have a problem grabbing the attention of the judges and audience. After a translator for the troupe made their introduction, the stage immediately went dark, and the silhouette of a dancer in a fluorescent body suit appeared, creating magnificent tricks of the eye with the help of other members of his dance group. As for the judges? They were quick to admit they’d never seen anything as captivating on the show before. See for yourself below…
