Hoping to spread a little holiday cheer and have a little fun, Glendora photographer Robert Martinez set a toy Santa decoration in Big Dalton Canyon. What he didn't expect was how the local animals would react.
He placed a hidden camera, set up to record color at night, and was surprised when a large male black bear approached the Christmas decoration to investigate.
In the video, the bear gives the decoration a few sniffs and gnaws on Santa's hat . Then, the bear unexpectedly knocks Santa over. Whoops! Looks like this wild black bear is going to be on the naughty list this year.
When Martinez viewed the footage, the recording he captured had him laughing out loud. He later uploaded the video and titled it: "Merry Christmas! Santa gets KO'd by a Bear!"
