A friend of mine is getting engaged in a few days. I know this because it's no secret, she knows all the details for her upcoming proposal and is telling everyone. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for this couple, but it has me wondering why anyone wouldn't want to be swept off their feet. Luckily, I get my fair share of romance here at LittleThings, so I'm always reminded that true love is still alive and kicking.
I'm a real sucker for a great engagement surprise. You just have to hand it to people like this guy, who staged an elaborate proposal for his girlfriend's best friend just to throw off any suspicion she may have had. It goes without saying that this woman was completely shocked when she realized that she was actually the one getting engaged and to me that's exactly how it should be!
In the following video, we see an equally great surprise, when a man named Blake decided to give his girlfriend Carly a gorgeous jewelry armoire that he carefully crafted by hand. Everyone knew that the best was yet to come, except for Carly, who goes through the doors, unaware that each drawer hides something she loves.
