Blake Shelton Quickly Turns His Chair Around For This Incredible Singer On ‘The Voice’

When Paxton Ingram auditioned for season 10 of The Voice, he made Blake Shelton turn his chair around almost immediately.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever recognized true greatness so quickly,” Shelton told the singer after his audition. “I think the key to being a great coach, it’s me figuring out a way to be as supportive as I can be and the only people that I want to do that with are people that I’m a fan of. Please pick me!”

Shelton wasn’t the only one blown after by his performance of “Dancing On My Own” by Swedish singer Robyn. Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine also turned their chairs around strategically at the end of the song.

“I needed them to think that I didn’t want to turn so that I could get as many people out of this as possible and he did the same thing,” Levine said while gesturing to Williams.

The coaches also started fighting to get Ingram on their team, as they'd done for the actress who played Curly Sue that same night.

Williams said, "Not only did you have a great voice, I thought we all should be pressing our buttons."

As for Aguilera, she admitted that she missed out by not pressing her red button.
