Bo Reichenbach wasn't just a member of the Navy, he is a SEAL — the highly selective special operations force reserved for only the best.
However, being the best in the Navy can often result in assuming more risks. While serving in Afghanistan, Bo lost both of his legs in combat.
Though this may have been devastating news for a time, his outlook on life is something we could all learn from.
"Well, I get to wake up to my wife, and my son, and my family that cares. And, it’s about living for them and living a full, happy life for my family. And, being able to do everything with them," he says.
When Bo returned home from service, his father, Ron, was determined to show Bo that he could still do anything.
Like Sgt. Greg Dotson, another veteran and amputee, Bo's adjustment to civilian life could was not easy but it certainly helped to have the support of his family.
Ron was right. Together the father and son began building a house, which is no small feat, even for someone without any disabilities.
Now Ron is surprising his son with something even more incredible. Watch the video to see Bo's story of honor and survival.
