No Idea What He’s Thinking? Decode His Thoughts With These Body Language Secrets!

Sometimes our interactions can be totally bewildering.

You hear the words a person is saying but you're unsure of how they actually feel.

On dates especially, it can feel like he is saying one thing but deep down your gut knows he means another.

Fear not, your gut may be right. Reading body language — or the nonverbal communications expressed by physical and facial movements – can occur subconsciously, but it is also a sign of a high emotional intelligence.

Though body language can vary from culture to culture (for example: Americans love their personal space so getting close to a stranger signals intrusiveness, while in France you may find strangers happily sitting closely together), it can be a helpful indicator of what someone is thinking.

If you and the person you're speaking with grew up in the same culture, chances are you have the same body language grammar.

In relationships body language may help you understand your partner better and thus, find better ways to communicate with them.

Check out this list of 12 body language secrets and decode the hidden meanings in your everyday conversations!
