Science, the earth…these things amaze me every day!
While I'm always interested in the newest inventions that are changing the way we live and work every day, the natural laws of this planet are the things that truly inspire me.
I know a lot of us don't really think about gravity on a daily basis because, well, why would we? It keeps our feet on the ground, but otherwise it seems pretty unremarkable. It's always been there, so we never question it. It's something we learn in school, accept as fact, and then go on about out lives.
But when you watch something like this video, a video from BBC Two featuring Physicist Brian Cox, you can't help but be awed by both gravity, and what it actually means when you look at it from a scientific standpoint. When you drop a bowling ball and feathers from a high point, and suck out all the air – well, what happens is why you need to watch this in the first place!
