OT Harris was just a baby when he had his first experience with the Knoxville Fire Department. Today, he is 18 years old as he returns as their intern. "The firefighters who sign my paychecks delivered me [as a baby]," he shared.
"It’s a small world!" the Knoxville Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post. "In 2005 this KFD crew assisted in the delivery of Mr. OT Harris. Today this crew is working with Mr. Harris as part of the Summer in the City intern program!"
On that day in 2005, OT's mom went into labor at their house at the time. It was two days before she was scheduled to be induced. They called 911, and the fire department showed up just as OT's head was coming out. "I told the firemen, 'This is baby number seven … and we're going to have a baby right now,'" his mom shared. "One big push and OT was here."
