Coming home from vacation is always a little bittersweet: You're happy to be home, but it's only a matter of time before reality sets in.
However, for one teen, the blow was softened by her incredible boyfriend who knows her astonishingly well. Twitter user Grace came home from a family vacation on November 30 to find a Post-it note, scrawled with her boyfriend's handwriting, stuck on her bedroom door.
Before going away, Grace had told her boyfriend that she didn't want him spending too much money on her for Christmas. The request was very thoughtful, but Grace's boyfriend definitely didn't listen.
However, what he did listen to is her apparently constant complaining about being cold, which inspired the entire adorable Christmas surprise she was about to walk in on.
Grace may have said that she didn't want him to spend a lot, but her boyfriend seems to have decided that "early Christmas" was an appropriate excuse to go against her wishes.
Grace opened the door to see that her adorable boyfriend placed a surprise on her bed and illuminated it with Christmas lights, which are one of her favorite things.
Placed on her bed were 12 pairs of fuzzy Christmas socks, candy, a soft blanket and yet another note penned by her man.
The extremely cute note explained that the socks are to keep her warm when he isn't around. He even drew a little heart at the end.
Grace took to Twitter to share the gesture and just how thoughtful her boyfriend is. The "heart eyes" emoji explains it all.
It's not hard to see why Grace is all smiles with a significant other who knows and treats her so well!
