It all started when Maddie signed up on TwinStrangers.com help people find their look-a-like. The second she saw Amber's face, she knew she'd found her "match." Maddie is from Washington and Amber is halfway across the world in Australia. And though the two are not related, they look exactly like twins — and their connection was instant.
The pair of doppelgängers were able to meet in Los Angeles. They describe it more like meeting up with a friend they hadn't seen in a long time, rather than a couple of strangers meeting for the first time. After having their hair and makeup done to resemble one another even more, they looked completely identical and hit the streets of Hollywood where everyone thought they were twins. Maddie and Amber's boyfriends were brought in to see the girls standing side-by-side. And for a brief moment, they couldn’t even tell them apart!
They were in tears when it was time to say goodbye but they're going to keep in touch and get a DNA test to see if they're actually related.
