Like most Americans, I have lots of fond memories of watching The Brady Bunch on TV when I was growing up.
After all, it was billed as the perfect sitcom for parents and kids to watch together, as those Brady kids got up to lovable hijinks with a squeaky-clean sense of humor! It’s no wonder that most adults remember the Bradys as a childhood constant.
Of course, looking back on the sitcom today, it’s about as nostalgic and 70s as it gets. Like Donny Osmond performing on Top of the Pops, The Brady Bunch is a true throwback!
But even though the show (and the fashion!) looks pretty dated from 2015, I still just love watching the reruns. Like this apartment that’s a perfect time capsule of 50s interior design, The Brady Bunch was classic for a reason.
Even now, decades later, the sitcom is still great entertainment. To this day, I still know every word to “Sunshine Day,” the song the kids performed in the episode “Amateur Night.” And when Bobby starts singing his solo? Priceless! For a dose of nostalgia, check out this clip of the song in the video below!
