The Braxton Sisters Bring Their Mother To Tears With Special Performance

When Bishop T.D. Jakes encouraged the Braxton sisters to use the voice that God gave them, the famous clan sang a passionate rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer" in an episode of Braxton Family Values.

"Thy Kingdom come/Thy will be done/On Earth as it is in Heaven," the five sisters sang in unison. (And just wait for the notes Tamar faultlessly hits at the :58 mark!)

"I think it was really smart of Bishop Jakes to ask us all to go back to our roots and sing, especially because when we get together and we sing — and we sing for real — our sisterhood just seems to just automatically mesh together again," Trina said.

In fact, their sisterhood shined so much while singing the gospel song that it brought their mother to tears and received kudos from Bishop Jakes.

At the end of the song, Bishop Jakes also offered some words of advice to the sisters in an attempt to end a family feud.

"That's what families do. We can laugh, and love, and lift each other up. That's how we survive. We can't stop doing that," he told the women. "I don't care who did what, you're still family."
