Just seven months after she got married, Danielle Davis faced a nightmarish decision: Her new husband Brian was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle crash, leaving him in a coma. Doctors advised Danielle to pull the plug when he failed to show signs of improvement. They regrettably deemed his recuperation a lost cause.
But Danielle found strength in her faith when she was confronted with the prospect of losing Brian. Thus, she resolutely refused to give up hope. She told the doctors no, she would not be pulling the plug, and Brian was eventually released into her care.
Weeks went by until finally, against all odds, Brian spoke: "I'm trying," he whispered.
Miraculously, Brian became conscious after being relinquished to Danielle's care. However, three years had been wiped from his memory. He didn't know that Danielle was his wife, or that his father had died, or that he'd even gotten married. But faith, family and patience proved more powerful than anything.
These days, things are getting much better for Brian and Danielle. He's starting to walk again, and has gone from taking 20 medications per day to requiring zero.
This story is nothing short of a miracle.
