When you think about it, all weddings are just big performances that the couple puts on for all of their friends and family. This is not to say that these performances aren't incredibly meaningful and spectacular. But, at the core, they're all big shows!
Think about it: a groom stands at the altar waiting for the bride to enter. Everyone's watching him until the music starts and the bride shows up, and all the heads turn to watch her. The whole wedding party spent hours getting primped to be camera-ready, and the production costs of a wedding are probably way higher than a lot of theater companies would ever dream of! Then, at the reception, groomsmen rehearse elaborate dances, bridesmaids coordinate songs, and moms and dads learn how to dance to the latest pop hits.
It's all one big performance!
When this bride named Krystle walks into the back of the chapel, she's holding her bouquet in one hand, and a microphone in the other. It's a bit hard to make it out underneath her veil, but once she starts singing? Her wedding guests can't believe that a regular old wedding turned into a truly spectacular performance.
