As Kristin's wedding day got closer and closer, she was incredibly busy with figuring out what exactly still needed to be done.
The wedding venue was reserved, the seating arrangements were all locked in, the menu was all figured out and accounted for, the wedding photographer was hired along with the wedding band, the wedding dress was bought and beautiful, and the bridesmaids actually all liked their gowns. Everything seemed just about set in stone!
But the bride and groom were having a little bit of trouble figuring out what song to play for their first dance. Kristin's favorite song, "Grow Old With You," was immediately shot down by the groom because he said the Adam Sandler song was just "too silly" for such a special dance.
So Kristin finally backed down, but that's only because she came up with a better way of getting what she wanted. Unbeknownst to the groom, she spent three months having a teacher train her how to play the guitar!
Just in time for her special day she dropped the surprise on her new husband. At first he doesn't even seem to believe her, but finally he starts laughing and clapping in excitement.
Her final performance was sweet and honest; we're happy that she gave such a meaningful and funny present to her new husband on their wedding day. Hopefully she'll keep up with her guitar classes, she's got a beautiful voice!
