They say love can make people crazy. If that's the case, weddings can make people downright insane. There have been quite a number of viral bridezilla stories going around the internet in recent months, but this one very well might take the (wedding) cake.
The sister of one particularly unhinged bride-to-be took to Reddit's R/JUSTNOFAMILY. The user, u/Suicides_and_sundaes, shared the ridiculous list of demands her yet-to-be-engaged sister had for the people she was vetting to fill the remaining spots in her bridal party.
Somehow, it's even more bizarre than it sounds. The bridezilla even threatened legal action against bridesmaids who did not fulfill said requirements! In what she warmly called "the Bridal Party Brawl," she expected friends to fight for the "honor" of being a bridesmaid or groomsman.
Ignoring the fact that some people don't actually enjoy being a bridesmaid, the fact that she was expecting people to argue over who could fawn over her more is truly mind-boggling!

Reddit user u/Suicides_and_sundaes decided to post her sister's ridiculous pre-engagement antics for all to enjoy (and mock).

The bride-to-be thought it charming to have her friends and family "brawl" to secure a place in her bridal party.

She even provided a handy list of open spots to prospective bridal party members.

The bridesmaids wouldn't be be literally fighting for the remaining spots, despite how it sounds. Rather, they just had to make a few promises.

As the list goes on, it gets pricier and more outrageous.

The bride-to-be, who is not even engaged yet, required a number of guaranteed gifts with mandatory minimum amounts spent.

What's even more insane is that the bride wanted these people to sign legally binding documents that say they're liable for reimbursing the happy couple if the requirements aren't met.
Uh… what?!

This bride has seemingly completely lost touch with reality, and no one seems to have told her yet.

Her sister was wise to sidestep this all by not replying to any of the messages.

Some Reddit users did the math and realized that being in this wedding could set each "lucky" bridal party member back roughly $1,200.

Many commenters were baffled that someone could put all of this down in text and think it sounds reasonable enough to share with others.

When asked why the couple had so many monetary requirements, the sister of this bridezilla explained that they apparently hoped to use the money toward a $10,000 honeymoon.

She also went on to explain that everyone in the bride-to-be's life enabled her behavior.
Many of her friends had similarly unreasonable expectations, so they wouldn't be so quick to call her out.

There's a limit to what people will put up with.
So on the off chance you're a bride like this one, don't be surprised not to hear back from too many people after a text like that!
