Every couple has their own unique story of how they met. For the couple in the video below, that story begins with wife Shannon making the trek from America over to the UK to join a dance troupe. She only planned to stay in England for a year, but after meeting now-husband Peter in the same troupe, she ended up staying indefinitely to build a family with him. The couple retired from dance 15 years ago when their daughter was still young to focus on raising her and, later, their son.
Now that both of their children are older, their daughter 19 and son 10, the couple have decided to dip their toes back into their passion by auditioning for Britain's Got Talent. It's a brave way to re-enter the dancing world considering not only the years they've spent away from the stage, but the formidable judges who will determine their fate. Simon Cowell and crew greet the pair as they saunter out in front of them, asking to hear their love story.
But really, all the panel needed was to wait for their breathtaking choreography and they'd see just how much romance and affection there is between the talented husband and wife. Cowell can't help but wear a huge grin on his face as they twirl around and contort their bodies throughout the incredible routine. With their son cheering them on in the audience, this moment is one their family will never forget.
