Brother And Sister Torn Apart During The War Find Each Other 75 Years Later

There's no greater gift in the world than having a sibling.

I'm not saying life as an only child is a bad thing — you definitely get all of your parents' attention and never have to fight over things as silly as the TV remote, but there's no denying that having a brother or sister in your life is a true blessing.

As I grow older and see how friends can easily change, I realize just how lucky I am to have a sister. In the following video, we meet a woman named Rose, who had a rough start in life and grew up passed around from family to foster home after her mother died and her father was sent off to fight in World War II. Even though she was completely alone in the world, somehow Rose always felt like she had someone out there. It turned out that she did.

Times were very different back then, so when Rose was sent away, her baby brother John was sent somewhere else. John grew up never knowing he had an older sister, assuming he too was all alone. Then one day Rose's adult children decided to look into their mother's family history. What they found changed her life forever.

It's a shame that Rose and John never had each other growing up, but it's such a blessing that they are finally reunited for their last years.
