When brothers Billy and Jacob were very young, they were separated from their sister Natalie. The siblings' parents couldn't care for them anymore, and while one family adopted the two brothers, a separate family took in Natalie.
Billy didn't even know he had a sister until he was 10 years old.
Ever since then, he's wondered how he could find his long-lost sister. Eventually, Billy's wife Kerri stepped in and started searching for her on Facebook. She found a woman with the sister's name and messaged her.
She didn't have to wait long for a reply: The very next day, the woman sent her a message saying that she was, in fact, adopted and that she had two brothers she'd never met before.
Kerri broke the news to her husband, who was surprised and overjoyed by the news. He got in touch with Natalie, and they planned to meet.
In the clip below, you can see home video of Billy waiting for his sister to arrive at his home and then the moment they hug for the first time. They've been waiting their entire lives for this moment!
Billy told WPBF, “It was a hug like I’ve never had, because it was a hug I’ve never had.”
Their brother Jacob is also making plans to travel to meet his sister, too!
