Women’s Facebook Response To Bullied Girl On Ride Goes Viral

When Kate-Lynn Edwards attended the Porter County fair in Indiana, she expected a fun day out. What she did not expect was to see bullying right before her eyes. Kate-Lynn was so disturbed by the incident, she took to Facebook to let the young girl, a total stranger, know that she was beautiful. It all started when the young girl had difficult getting onto a ride because of her weight. With help from her mother, she was able to get on, but that didn't happen before a few mean girls began to make rude comments.

"Once her mom helped her up, you could hear one of them say something and then two girls laughed really, really loud, and then the young lady that I'm searching for her face just looked devastated and so sad," Kate-Lynn said. She knew the feeling all too well. Kate-Lynn was bullied when she was in high school because of her weight. Now, she's an Indy Pro Wrestler who wants women to embrace their different shapes and sizes.

"I have been thinking about last night all day, I need to find you and tell you how beautiful you are, and how much you are worth. Your smile was perfect, and truthfully you are beautiful," she wrote on Facebook. "I didn't realize there were so many people out there who don't realize that they're all beautiful and none of us are perfect and it's our imperfections that make us different."
