Reality Star Has To Ride Scooter During Parade While Cruel Bullies Mock Her Appearance

Whitney Way Thore struggled with her weight ever since she was a little girl. She grew up feeling trapped in a vicious cycle of yo-yo diets, eating disorders and dangerously low self-esteem. There was a time she tried desperately to lose 200 pounds and thought society would see her as "beautiful" if she conformed to the ideal body.

But then Whitney posted a video showcasing her passion and talent for dancing… and it changed everything. Thanks to a YouTube clip entitled, "Fat Girl Dancing," Whitney went from viral video sensation to the star of her own reality show called "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" on TLC. She began inspiring people all over the world to embrace their bodies and pursue their dreams no matter what.

Whenever Whitney performs, she doesn't really pay attention to or even notice any negativity that may surround her. But in the clip below, Whitney has hurt her back and unable to perform with her dance troupe at the big St. Patrick's Day parade. Instead, she must sit out and ride a mobility scooter in front of thousands of people in attendance.

Having to miss out on the performance was hard enough — but then came the horrible, hateful comments. The pointing and the gesturing. The laughing and the name-calling.

With a camera attached to the scooter, you're about to witness the sheer ridicule some people face on a daily basis.
