California Bicyclist Hit By Car Wakes Up And Can’t Remember Name Or If He Has A Family

In September 2021, the UC Davis Medical Center was tasked with asking for the public's help identifying a man who can't remember a thing about his past. On August 24 of that year, the injured man was found in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento.

The man was on a bicycle when he was hit by a car. He was taken to UC Davis for treatment. When he came to, he was unable to remember his own name. He didn't remember any members of his family or where he is from.

The incident was the second time someone with amnesia has appeared at the medical center in 2021. After a month of searching, authorities were able to identify her and help her appropriately.

Everyone was hoping for a similar happy ending for this man. He is described as a Spanish speaker and is 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He has no tattoos.

Anyone who recognizes him was encouraged to contact call CHP officers Eulogio Ceja at 916-754-7922 (email: [email protected]) or A.J. McTaggart at 916-798-0975 (email: [email protected]). Both officers are Spanish speakers.

Unfortunately, it seems the man was released without anyone stepping forward.
