Here's a very familiar face, but when you see who it belongs to, you'll be shocked!
If you've ever tried to do your makeup freehand for halloween or a costume party, you know that it's not as simple as it may appear. I'll never forget covering my face in white paint and red lipstick after seeing Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace back in 1999 and trying to imitate Natalie Portman's signature "Queen Amidala" look. It was messy, painful, and did not go as well as the makeup tutorial in this next video.
I like to think I've honed my makeup skills a bit since the '90s, but the transformation that takes place in YouTuber Alyson Tabbitha's cosplay tutorial puts anything and everything I've done to shame. In the following video, Tabbitha channels the rum-swigging, swashbuckling free spirit of Captain Jack Sparrow from Disney's Pirates of The Caribbean movies. With a good wig, some strategically placed facial hair and some makeup to make her look like she's been on the high seas for too long, Tabbitha doesn't just look a little like the iconic Disney character, I could swear she was the real deal if I had just seen the end result.
