Carrie Underwood took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first child with Mike Fisher.
The country singer and American Idol alum shared a touching photo and message. She wrote, "Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!" And there you have it: Isaiah Michael Fisher. Named after his daddy, how traditional!
One thing is for sure: this kid is going to have great taste in music. Carrie said, while Isaiah was still in the womb, that she was carefully choosing what her baby would be exposed to.
In a recent interview she discussed her decision to cultivate Isaiah's tastes. "I find myself wanting to expose him to good music. So if there’s certain things on the radio. I’ll be like, ‘No, no. We can’t listen to that,’ ” she said. “And I’ll turn it, then I’ll find something incredible that I grew up listening to. I’m like, ‘Let’s teach him this early.’”
