Normally, I’m used to seeing cats jump out of buildings rather than in them. But this clever little feline decided there was no place like home, as he hopped back into the house he'd ran away from in the most amazing way.
With a little help from a family member, Mason the cat took it upon himself to climb back up to his two-story apartment using a homemade rope made of knotted towels. I don’t blame Mason for changing his mind and wanting to come back home. From the looks of this video, wherever he is, it’s snowing and cold, and there really is no place a cat would rather be than cuddled up at home with the heater on.
And he's not the only one. Here's another cat who's so over winter!
Plus, who said dogs are the only household pets who know how to do tricks? This just goes to show that cats have a few good ones up their sleeves as well. I’m sure the smell of fresh cat food brought him to the right place, too (or maybe it was just the promise of a warm place to cough up hairballs in peace). I think this just goes to show that everyone is ready for this winter weather to be over, cats included.
