If you needed any more proof that cats are going to take over the world someday, here it is.
Most cats meow or scratch at the door when they want to come in, but Russian kitty Vasilisa has figured out a much more efficient way to get her owner to open the door for her. This feline ninja has managed to climb up her door and actually ring the doorbell to get her human's attention, and he finally got it all on tape.
Dogs are generally the furry friends that are known for performing cool tricks, but just like this cat who has learned to "shake hands" before every meal, Vasilisa is proof that kitties can do anything their canine counterparts can…and then some. What's even crazier, though, is that according to her owner, she was never actually trained to do this neat trick — she just figured it out all by herself! I can only imagine what other human-like actions she's learned that her owner has no idea about.
After seeing Vasilisa's trick and watching this cat get some serious "me time" by opening a closet door all by herself, I have to wonder how long it will be before our cuddly pets learn to do everything by themselves. For now, though, the most advanced trick my own cat has learned is to jump on my face when I don't wake up at exactly 6 a.m. to feed him.
No matter how she learned it, there's no denying that this cat's trick is pretty cool. If only she could learn to open and close the door, her owner would never have to worry about her again!
