This curious cat just made an unbelievably fun discovery: balloons!
Forget the toys and cat nip, this feline has hours of fun playtime with a tiny balloon. In the video below, a cat spins in circles to get a balloon off his backside, but the static electricity is keeping the balloon stuck to the cat's body. While you may expect a cat to attack the balloon with its claws, this guy has other plans. Turns out, this cat really loves balloons — almost as much as Bunk the birthday dog.
As he chases the balloon around the room, you can't help but laugh. I remember when I was a kid, I used to squish balloons on my head until all my hair stood on end, and then I'd run around and try to stick the balloon onto my siblings' bodies. Those were the days!
When was the last time a simple thing like a balloon entertained you this much?
Being naturally curious, cats need some sort of challenge every day. Whether the cat is looking out the window at chattering birds or chasing a feather stick, exercise and playtime is vital for keeping them healthy. Just remember, if you choose to let your cat play with balloons, keep a watchful eye on them. You don't want it to accidentally swallow the balloon if it pops.
