This is certainly the most magical time of the year, and wherever you look, you're bound to be reminded of that. No matter what holiday you celebrate, you're likely feeling a bit warm and fuzzy inside. It's a magical time for kids, but us big kids need a bit of magic too, and the holidays are the perfect time to embrace it.
Of course, holidays can add stress as well. There's financial strain, family gatherings with people you may not have seen in a long time, and so on. But it's important to focus on the good things this year — like your family or even your friends (your chosen family!). Celebrities are taking to social media to remind us all to do just that. They are definitely feeling the holiday spirit, sharing their holiday cards, their traditions, and much more with followers.
We love checking out what they're up to all the time, but this time of year, it's great fun to check in with our favorite celebs during the holidays. Here's a peek at what they've been sharing.
Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen is one of our favorite celebrities because she always keeps us in the know on social media. She also loves baking, and of course it's the perfect time of year to bake all the delicious things. She showed off her cookie-making skills on Instagram, and the kids helped out too. You just can't have Christmas without sugar cookies.
She also posted a supercute video of her daughter, Luna. We see a lot of Luna on Chrissy's Instagram, but fans loved this sweet capture of her talking to Santa. She sweetly shared her Christmas wishes with the big guy. We're guessing Luna's Christmas dreams will come true this year.
Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott
Actress Zooey Deschanel and HGTV star Jonathan Scott are one of the newest couples we've been hearing about. Jonathan just shared a sweet photo of the pair getting in the holiday spirit. He posted a picture of himself and Zooey on Sunday holding up Christmas cookies that look, well, just like them! "When you surround yourself with amazing, creative people…the result is magical :)," wrote Jonathan.
Pink
Pink has long been in the holiday spirit and has been sharing about it on her Instagram page. She showed off her holiday baking creations, posting this image of these tasty, melty treats. She captioned the photo "making melted snow people." Melted or not, they look delicious.
She also recently shared a photo of her and her husband, Carey Hart, getting ready to celebrate. They obviously have a unique holiday tradition — a holiday dress-up party. "It’s our annual dress-up party," Pink wrote. "And of course, I had to go as one of my personal heroes, Billie Jean King. And of course, my husband is one of my other heroes, John McEnroe. I appreciate heart and determination in every facet of one's life. Serena is my modern day, of course. Booking tennis lessons as we speak."
Suzanne Somers
Suzanne Somers has been big into sharing on social media lately. But now we can tell she's definitely feeling the festive, holiday vibes. She shared this adorable photo from her Step by Step days: "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my TV family to yours!" she wrote. "I love all my Step By Step fam!❤️ #TBT."
Jodie Sweetin
The Fuller House star shared an adorable Instagram post of her holiday card. In the cute picture, Jodie is with her two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix. She used the hashtag #girlgang. They look super festive in their white and maroon outfits and their huge smiles. Jodie has been in the holiday spirit for a while!
She's made quite a few holiday posts on Instagram. She's shown us pictures of gatherings with family and friends, photos in front of the tree, and more. Recently, she shared a picture letting us know that she's definitely been doing some shopping. "A sea of wrapping paper!" she wrote alongside this photo she snapped while wrapping gifts.
Tori Spelling
Tori Spelling shared her holiday card with her followers, as well. Tori's family looked adorable in the photo. "What can I say…Simply to Impress is the best!" she wrote alongside the photo. "This year we’re sending out our most fab holiday card yet. SimplytoImpress.com makes it super easy with the cutest designs and a fast turnaround. With the kiddos growing up so quickly, I’m thankful we can share these special moments together. Let the holidays begin!"
She also shared with followers that her family celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah. She posted a photo of all the traditional food she is making to celebrate Hanukkah, too. Both holidays are clearly important to Tori. She wrote, "Tonight, we all worked together as a family to cook, create, and celebrate. We even sang and danced to some Hanukkah songs."
It's lovely to see everyone taking part in their favorite holiday traditions. Watching others celebrate just puts us in the holiday spirit even more.
